My Golly Project

My golly project is now ready for appliqueing. Decisions, decisions should I hand blanket stitch or go the fast way and machine applique. Boy oh boy some of the pieces are very small. What do my fellow sisters think?

I assure you all the photo makes the piece look much bigger than it is!!
