Had fun making the hottie covers(filled with an empty hot water bottle) for children in Christchurch. The transfers I have had for hmmmm years so about time they got used!

Remember my "Country Friends" BOM from the Suitcase Sale at retreat ... here is Month 1 completed.  Holidays are great for stitchery moments.

Playing around with towels and a little bit of stitchery ... that is what I have been up to!!

Not quite christmas gifts but will these count as this months gifts?

At last I have managed a finish. As these are gifts will my fellow Sample Sisters allow me to count them as this months gift challenge? Not quite christmas but for a birthday instead!! Now on to the next project - a dress the granddaughter has ordered for her first day at school. She has given me a picture out of a magazine to copy!! What will she be like when she reaches her teens - probably will be ordering a whole new wardrobe!!

Have a great week and hope those sewing machines get used at some stage. Bet you are like me and feel you are getting "withdrawal syptoms" if you don't have the time to sew for a few days.

Hi gals, thought I would post as this blog might dry up & fall off the world of blogs.
I went out to my studio last night to do a few little jobs & lost track of time..................................
I thought I would make a couple of Raewyn's mini blocks......oh dear, oh s - e - w addictive!!!!
mmmmm should I thank you Raewyn for teaching us how to make these???

Cuteness!! Addictiveness!!!! I am seriously thinking of bringing a machine in the house so I can make these at night!

And of course there is the odd bit of knitting going on........Barbara can you spot your selvedges??

Anyway I hope you are all well & are thinking up ways you can create something from these cute blocks for our meeting next month?
